Ángela Aguilar : Ángela Aguilar Álvarez Alcalá (Los Angeles, California, October 8, 2003), known simply as Ángela Aguilar, is an American singer. As a performer, she specializes in the Regional Mexican music genre. Her father is mariachi singer-songwriter Pepe Aguilar. Her grandfather was Mexican mariachi musician and film actor Antonio Aguilar, and her grandmother was Mexican singer and actress Flor Silvestre.1

Ángela Aguilar gained notable recognition after performing "La Llorona" at the 2018 19th Annual Latin Grammy Awards.

Her first solo studio album of hers, First I'm Mexican (2018), was met with critical acclaim and success. She has been nominated for a Grammy Award and two Latin Grammy Awards, making her one of the youngest artists to be nominated for both awards.
