有人说：“香港娱乐圈一半的明星都像柯受良。”如果你了解他的过去，就会发现这并不为过。
柯受良不仅是一位出色的演员，还是一位“车神”。1997年，为香港回归献礼，完成驾车渡黄河壮举。他被誉为“飞越黄河第一人”。
进入歌坛后，他的《大哥》一直传唱至今。他喝醉后，随口一唱，让刘德华写了《笨小孩》，进入影坛虽然不是以专业演员的身份进入，但却是是以特技替身演员的身份进入，《快餐车》《最佳拍档》《龙兄虎弟》，经典摩托车飞车镜头全部由柯受良完成，是一步步从演艺圈底层摸爬滚打到上位阶层的人，为人义气，片场照顾提携新人演员。
《逃学威龙2》《古惑仔》《给爸爸的信》每一个角色都令人印象深刻。
2003年，柯受良因酒精摄入过量引发哮喘病逝，享年50岁。
