The Peterbilt 389 is a line of conventional-cab heavy duty Class 8 trucks produced by the Peterbilt division of PACCAR. It was introduced as a 2008 model year in late 2006, succeeding the 379. It is manufactured at the main facility in Denton, Texas, United States. The 389 is a popular basis for truck customization, including additional chrome trim, wheels, custom paint, and additional lighting.
