What is locon?

How to use?

For webui install https://github.com/KohakuBlueleaf/a1111-sd-webui-locon and use it as a lora

Edit: The new extracted version is 400 MB and is a better at clothes than the old 500 MB version

It turns out it is difficult to reproduce every detail even with locon. This version is of size 500 MB but you probably still won't be able to prompt the racing suits properly (which the original model actually already struggles for some characters). Even larger locon with better approximation to the original model is provided here

Of course, when the size becomes too large it would be just better to merge with the original checkpoint. The only advantage is that you can use it exactly as a Lora in the interface.

Will probably update with a trained version later as it shall be better.

How does it compare to other existing umamusume loras?

Advantage. You get almost every character and you can more easily put multiple characters together. You also get anime and support card style and several common outfits.

Disadvantage. Worse at character specific outfit. The original model can be better but there is always a tradeoff between flexibility and fidelity. By the way, it is mostly sufficient to use a single keyword for outfit instead of providing many trigger words.
