Martha Quinn (b. 1959) is an American radio and television personality, best known as one of the original "VJs" on MTV at its launch in 1981. She was a new NYU graduate who'd interned at local radio stations when she came to the attention of network boss Bob Pittman. Wrote Dwight Garner: "Every sentient straight male in the country developed a schoolboy crush on Martha Quinn, one of the first V.J.'s, fresh out of New York University and so cute she could make your cranium detonate."
She was on air there from 1981 to 1986 and 1989 to 1991. Since 2005, she's been hosting 1980s-themed radio shows, first on SiriusXM and most recently on iHeartMedia stations.
