Mummy sausages are a popular kid-friendly treat, especially around Halloween. Essentially, they are hot dogs or sausages wrapped in pastry dough or crescent roll dough and then baked. The dough is thinly wrapped around the sausage to resemble the bandages of a mummy. After baking, parts of the sausage are exposed, making it look like a mummy's body, hence the name.
Often, they are decorated with mustard, ketchup, or small slices of olives to add eyes or a face.
"Hello ma'am. You know, right?"
"Hey, do you want to eat pie?"
"I'll go right after I bake the dishes."
Please note that unripe tomatoes contain a sugar alkaloid called tomatine. It's not as potent as solanine in potatoes, but it's still harmful for you.
