Pierre Joubert was an iconic French illustrator, best known for his work on Signe de Piste, adventure books, scouting publications, and intricately detailed historical paintings. An extremely flexible creator, he worked in multiple media and used a variety of styles, depending on the work.
This LoRA has been trained on a wide variety of Joubert's work, of nearly 200 selected images, mostly from high-quality collections printed in the many artbooks published over the years. It tends to add, in my experience, solid technique and is very good in monochrome ink linework as it is with full-colour illustrations and paintings.
It can be used at any strength up to full 1, depending on your preferences for how the stylistic tones influence the final work. It has not been tested at a weight over 1.
It excels when applied to male subjects, since males were overwhelmingly more the subject of Joubert's career. I especially hope this LoRA will be helpful to the underrepresented creators in this community who enjoy creating male characters and works of art depicting males.
