Artist Sergey Alekseevich Sviridov was born in 1964 in Simferopol, studied at a secondary art school. After serving in the army, Sergei Alekseevich moved to Moscow, entered the Moscow Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, studied in the studio of the artist A.E. Sukhinin.

Sviridov paints his native Crimea with great pleasure: mountain landscapes, cozy shady streets, blooming gardens, still lifes and the most important beauty of Crimea - the sea.

The sea has its own attractive great power. Especially near the South Sea. This is the boundless distance, and the power of the elements, and the romance of the southern night, and the great sad hope for happiness.

Bright colors of nature, salty gentle wind, emerald transparency of water and seagulls soaring in the azure sky. Such Crimea and such a sea as in Sviridov's paintings no longer exist. But, they definitely were. About 40-50 years ago. At any rate, I saw them (that sea and that southern shore) with my own eyes.

Of course, Sergei Sviridov also saw them.

And it's not just landscapes... It's not just about beauty and authenticity. It's a dream.
