I made this Lora due to the lack of the Americana style of architecture. The Americana style occurred around the end of the Victorian era in the United States, and ended around the onset of the first world war. It was a period where the American culture and heritage was finally solidified with things and concepts uniquely American became a concept. It was a period of rapid development with the people confident in a bright future for the republic.
During this period, the first skyscrapers were made. Wondrous inventions were created seemingly every day. And the standard of living begin to increase. In this environment, the imagination ran wild as to what a grand nation America would be like as a super power, and the people came up with designs that were based on European designs, but with a unique American flair. Grand yet human scaled architecture with wide and clean pedestrian walkways and tree lined boulevards. Canals lining areas near rivers, lakes, and the oceans. Grand yet scaled parks lining and snaking their way between the grand buildings with shops at the bottom and residences above. Points of interest where one can look to important sites along straight and beautifully crafted ares. It was a dream architecture, yet sparsely created with most examples found in the likes of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, the 1915 San Fransisco World's Fair, and 1904 World's Fair. Coney Island and the early days of Atlantic City also had good real world examples at one point.
The Lora works well with a weight of 0.85. Depending on some checkpoints, the need to go higher is there. Most I have tried, especially most of the architecture ones, works around the 0.85 range area. Some architecture checkpoints force the look to have the glass box look, yet the Lora makes the buildings fit into the shapes of buildings that are normally associated with the Americana style. That, and along with adding the signature wide avenues and pedestrian areas with parks. The result is what looks like a modern pedestrian themed city area. The unique shapes of the Americana buildings also gives the glass box look a much less plain look.
When adding prompts, I like to add (in the style of and art by Midjourney, Greg Rutkowski, Raphael, Frank Lloyd Wright, James Gurney, Thomas Kinkade), as the artists and architects named are impressive in their style and adherence to architecture and different cultural styles. Adding 'scenery, city, vivid colors, buildings, park, promenades, wide boulevards, courtyards, skyscraper, magnificent architecture, and realistic' to the prompts increases the chances of them occurring. The same with adding general places like residential complexes, train stations, malls, hotels, city centers, and so on. Adding something like modern megacity to the prompts will set the picture into the modern era with some interesting results.
Adding the term 'Chiaroscuro' gives the look a very nice, bold, and contrast look while not going too far. Adding the term 'Sfumato' into the negative prompts gives the final look a less bleeding and fuzzy look. Both terms are actual terms in fine art and derive from the Renaissance period. Adding 'soft natural volumetric cinematic perfect light, perfect depth of field shot, ray tracing, photometry' helps with the lighting and adds a dramatic look at times.
