Trained with 233 premier woodblock prints from Japan in the 20th century, this LoRA evokes the Shin Hanga art movement, which reinvigorated Japanese woodblock printmaking with tremendous technical advances and the incorporation of Western influences.
The intent of this LoRA is to allow you to:
Create serene landscapes in the vein of masters like Hasui Kawase and Hiroshi Yoshida
Create beautiful portraits inspired by masters like GoyΕ Hashiguchi and Shinsui ItΕ
Apply the look of modern woodblock printing to any concept you can imagine.
You need to use the trigger phrase "shin hanga style" OR use a high strength (1.2-1.5) to see a prominent effect. Adding "woodblock print" to your prompt enhances the style.
At high strengths, use a lower CFG.
For serene natural environments try a very low CFG (2-4) and the more "creative" samplers like DPM++ 3M SDE, with strength 1+
For images of people try CFGs between 5-9, 30+ steps and around 1.1 strength
Works well with both realistic and stylized/anime checkpoints.
