The Super 5 GT Turbo is the sports model of the Super 5 , marketed by Renault fromMarch 1985to meet the competition of the time in this segment: the Golf GTI and the Peugeot 205 GTi . This model replaces the Renault 5 Alpine turbo , in the sporting tradition of the manufacturer. It will be available in four main models: phase 1, phase 2, the “Coupe” version and the limited version called “ Alain Oreille ”. The R5 GT Turbo is powered by the mythical “ Cléon-Fonte engine ” grafted with a Garrett turbo.
