Nadezhda "Nadya" Tolokonnikova (b. 1989) is a Russian activist and musician, best known as a member of the band and performance-art collective Pussy Riot. She served 21 months in prison for a performance piece titled "Punk Prayer," which criticized the Putin government's relationship with the Russian Orthodox Church. She's a badass. Earlier this year, her opposition to Vladimir Putin earned her a placement on Russia's most wanted list.
