I had tested on certain checkpoints that you can generate this idea without a lora, but they are very inconsistent and mostly limited to dogs and cats, Now this is still a work in progress lora, it works well with ordinary animals, including mammals and birds etc, but some more weight adjustments and prompt testing are needed to get a good results if you throw in weird characters with it. I had never tried any human characters, so, i have no idea what it will turn out either.
